Supplement and injectable wellness options
Misra Wellness offers two supplement pathways: physician-recommended oral supplements through Fullscript, and physician-directed prescription injectable or intranasal therapies prepared by a compounding pharmacy. Treatment begins with the patient, not the product — Dr. Misra reviews your medical history, medications, current supplements, laboratory results, treatment goals, and potential contraindications before recommending an individualized plan.
Physician-Directed Injectable Wellness Consultation
All injectable and intranasal wellness therapies require a consultation with Dr. Misra before treatment. These are physician-directed prescription therapies from a compounding pharmacy — not retail supplements — and must be selected based on your medical history, medications, current supplements, treatment goals, laboratory results, and clinical appropriateness.
Non-DPC patients — Injectable Wellness Consultation (30–45 minutes): $350. The consultation includes:
- Comprehensive medical history review
- Medication and supplement review
- Review of contraindications and potential drug interactions
- Discussion of health and treatment goals
- Review of required laboratory results
- Determination of the appropriate injectable, intranasal, oral, or combination therapy
- Development of an individualized treatment protocol
- Injection training
- Initial prescription, if medically appropriate
- Fullscript recommendations when appropriate
Prescription medication, laboratory testing, pharmacy charges, supplies, and shipping are separate. Scheduling a consultation does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued.
Active Direct Primary Care members: injectable wellness consultations and medically necessary follow-up are included with active membership (medication, laboratory, pharmacy, supply, and shipping costs remain separate). You do not have to become a DPC member before scheduling — you may begin with a standalone consultation and later apply for Direct Primary Care membership if you would like more comprehensive ongoing care.

Misra Wellness is cash-pay only — we do not bill insurance and do not provide superbills. Prescription medication, consultation fees, laboratory testing, supplies, pharmacy charges, and shipping are separate unless specifically stated otherwise.

Some patients may benefit from professional-grade oral supplements, vitamins, powders, capsules, or other non-injectable products through Fullscript, our HIPAA-compliant dispensary. Active Misra Wellness patients and patients who complete a physician-directed wellness consultation may receive individualized recommendations and access to available discounts when clinically appropriate.

NAD+
NAD+ is a naturally occurring coenzyme involved in cellular energy production, mitochondrial function, metabolic pathways, and cellular repair.
May support: cellular energy, mitochondrial health, cognitive health, healthy aging, metabolic wellness, and exercise recovery.

Treatment range: $99–$299.
Laboratory starting point: CBC with differential, comprehensive metabolic panel, fasting lipid panel, hemoglobin A1c, fasting insulin, and uric acid when indicated. Required fasting laboratory testing varies by therapy and generally ranges from $55 to $150. Laboratory fees are separate from the consultation fee and must be completed before the consultation. Additional testing may be required when NAD+ is combined with B12, MIC, or another therapy.
Approximate duration: injectable NAD+ lasts about 2–20 weeks depending on vial size, dose, and schedule; a 15 mL intranasal bottle typically lasts about 2–3 months and a 30 mL bottle about 4–6 months.
Administration: injectable NAD+ may be given subcutaneously or intramuscularly; intranasal NAD+ is administered into both nostrils per the prescribed protocol.
NAC (N-acetylcysteine)
N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is a precursor the body uses to produce glutathione and is involved in antioxidant and cellular-protection pathways.
May support: glutathione production, antioxidant balance, metabolic wellness, liver antioxidant pathways, and recovery from oxidative stress.
Pricing: NAC 200 mg/mL, 30 mL vial — $99 per 28-day treatment cycle.

Glutathione
Glutathione is produced in nearly every cell and is often called the body's master antioxidant. It plays an important role in cellular antioxidant defense, mitochondrial function, immune pathways, and the body's response to oxidative stress.
May support: cellular antioxidant defense, healthy aging, mitochondrial function, cellular energy, liver health, immune health, exercise recovery, metabolic wellness, cognitive health, and skin and hair health.
Pricing: standard physician-directed protocols start at $99 per 28-day cycle; higher-dose individualized protocols start at $199 per 28-day cycle. Treatment range: $99–$199.

Approximate duration: most patients begin with one 28-day cycle. Each multidose vial must be discarded 28 days after first puncture, regardless of the amount remaining.

GAC injectable amino acid protocol
GAC is a physician-directed compounded combination of glutamine, L-arginine, and L-carnitine. These amino acids are involved in recovery, nitric oxide signaling, mitochondrial energy metabolism, movement, and body-composition pathways.
May support: exercise recovery, strength and movement, body composition, energy metabolism, amino acid repletion, and metabolic wellness.

Methylcobalamin / Active Vitamin B12
Methylcobalamin is an active form of Vitamin B12, which plays an important role in red blood cell production, neurologic function, DNA production, and cellular energy pathways.
May support patients with: low or borderline Vitamin B12, documented B12 deficiency, fatigue when B12 support is appropriate, vegan or vegetarian dietary patterns, malabsorption risk, previous bariatric or gastrointestinal surgery, metformin or acid-reducing medication use, GLP-1 medication use when nutritional concerns are present, and neurologic symptoms when clinically appropriate.

Additional testing when indicated: intrinsic factor antibody ($35) and parietal cell antibody ($27).
Approximate duration: the treatment schedule is individualized. The vial must be discarded according to the pharmacy's written beyond-use instructions.

Ascorbic Acid / Vitamin C
Ascorbic acid is Vitamin C, an essential nutrient involved in collagen production, antioxidant pathways, immune function, iron absorption, and tissue repair.
May support: antioxidant pathways, nutritional repletion, immune health, recovery, collagen and tissue support, and broader metabolic or wellness goals.
Pricing: Ascorbic Acid 500 mg/mL, 30 mL vial — $99 per treatment cycle.
Laboratory starting point: CBC with differential, comprehensive metabolic panel, G6PD screening, ferritin, iron, total iron-binding capacity, transferrin saturation, and urinalysis with microscopy when indicated. Required fasting laboratory testing varies by therapy and generally ranges from $55 to $150. Laboratory fees are separate from the consultation fee and must be completed before the consultation.
Approximate duration: one 28-day treatment cycle after first puncture, unless different written instructions are provided by the pharmacy.
Administration: injection according to the individualized prescription.
MIC injectable support
MIC refers to methionine, inositol, and choline. These nutrients are involved in methylation, lipid metabolism, liver pathways, cellular signaling, and metabolic processes.
May support: metabolic wellness, energy metabolism, body-composition goals, nutritional support, liver-health pathways, methylation support, medical weight management, and exercise and wellness goals.

Additional testing when indicated: MTHFR ($185); liver ultrasound or FibroScan priced separately when clinically indicated.

Follow-up and ongoing monitoring
Most patients are reassessed after the first treatment cycle, usually within 4–6 weeks. Follow-up includes review of treatment response, side effects and tolerability, changes in medical history, medication and supplement changes, review of laboratory results when indicated, protocol adjustments, and continued, changed, or discontinued prescriptions when medically appropriate.
Non-DPC physician follow-up (30–45 minutes): $350. For active Direct Primary Care members, medically necessary follow-up is included as part of membership. Once a stable treatment plan is established, follow-up is generally every 3–6 months depending on the therapy, medical history, laboratory needs, medication changes, and clinical response.
Pharmacy & shipping
Prescription medication, consultation fees, laboratory testing, supplies, pharmacy charges, and shipping are separate unless specifically stated otherwise. Cold shipping, when required (usually May through October), is an additional $17.50. Compounded prescriptions are shipped directly to the patient from a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy. Medication orders are non-refundable once processed.
